Tin Tabernacle

Pre-fabricated buildings of all types were turned out in their thousands by British ironworks and despatched to all parts of the World. Popular were “tin tabernacles” for places where the expense of a stone or brick building could not be afforded. They can still be seen in many parts of mainland Britain and in Ireland, often re-purposed as shops or cafes, as well as many still in use as places of worship.

This kit makes an imposing building as a focal point for your model village.
