KEEP LEFT
Typical of the bollards found on British traffic islands from the 1920’s, they were of cast iron with glass panels displaying warnings such as “KEEP LEFT” and “NO ENTRY”. They remained in use until displaced in the 1960’s by the now familiar “pictogram” signs.
